• Description: Provides weatherization and minor home improvements to low-income PG&E customers. Energy specialists will identify upgrades and repairs that can increase the energy efficiency of the home. Depending on the feasibility of installation, home improvements may include: - New appliances to replace an old refrigerator, furnace or water heater. Furnace and water heater repair or replacement may be available if PG&E determines that the existing natural gas units are unsafe or do not work. - Insulation and weatherproofing services to keep the home cooler in summer and warmer in winter - LED light bulbs that use up to 80 percent less energy than traditional light bulbs

• Eligibility: Customers must live in a house, mobile home or apartment that is at least five years old and meet the income guidelines. Proof of household income must be provided. Check stubs, social security, bank statements, or other legal proof of income will be accepted. Proof of income is not required if documents proving participation in one of the following programs is provided: Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, CalFresh Benefits, Medi-Cal for Families (Healthy Families A & B), Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Medicaid/MediCal, National School Lunch Program (NSL), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Women, Infant, and Children Program (WIC).
